| Steel moment resistant frames were retrofitted inside original timber trim to preserve the character of a historic Bernard Maybeck design. Foundation stabilization and
roof structure capacity improvements were engineered. Our work was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for Preservation & Stabilization by the Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association and the California
Preservation Foundation Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Historic Preservation. |
